General Policies

Reservations are not required, for groups of six or less, to drink wine on the premises during posted hours.

Just need bottles-to-go? Stop by during posted hours or if it's outside of posted hours call, message or email to schedule an order to pickup! 

Wine is currently available by flights (3 x 2 oz. samples) or by the (5 oz) glass on site. Bottle sales-to-go are also available during posted hours as well as by advance appointment. Again, reservations are not currently required unless you'll be enjoying wine on site with a group of seven or more guests. However, reservations will be taken via phone or email for anyone who prefers to make a reservation. It's always a good idea to check on hours the week of your visit as the schedule is subject to change.

OUTSIDE: All guest operations are held outside, when weather permits, except in the event of a weather emergency or during winter months. For the enjoyment of all guests, children must be supervised at all times and be seated with their adult/guardian. Check special event listings for specifics on age requirements. Most special events are 21+ only.

INSIDE: Inside seating is only available to guests in the cold of winter or during a weather emergency. The outdoor, covered patio can accommodate more guests than the inside capacity allows, so dress for the weather!

Due to limited staffing, the inside space is not available May-September/early October. 

Group size is a maximum of six guests without a reservation. All guest groups of seven or more do require an advance reservation to ensure that your group can be accommodated. No buses. 

No limit except in the event of rain and/or closing time!

Last call is 15 minutes prior to closing time, unless otherwise posted.

As always, Buffalo Rock Winery reserve the right to refuse service or ask anyone to leave who is obnoxious (drunk, belligerent, disrespectful, or otherwise), and authorities will be called upon if necessary. 

Absolutely no outside food or beverages allowed. Need a light snack? Crackers, chocolates and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during the regular season (late-April thru early-October). Charcuterie is availability is based on staffing, to ensure availability guests may order in advance. Limited pop, sports drinks, bubbly water and water options are also available, each for only $1. No outside food or beverages allowed. 

Pets are never allowed at Buffalo Rock Winery, not even outside. The chickens and cat who reside on site and neighboring dogs and other pets appreciate your cooperation. Only leashed, marked service animals are allowed.

As a courtesy to guests, access to the bathroom is available upon request as staff will need to unlock the indoor space to grant access. Also note that the septic system is a holding tank, please use water conservatively. (Whatever gets flushed down need to be pumped out.)

Cash is accepted, and preferred because using cash will save YOU 3% or more! 

Visa, Mastercard and Discover are currently accepted. Please note, there is a 3% convenience fee applied to all credit card payments. 

Posted 5/10/2026. This is a six-month notice. Credit cards will no longer be accepted beginning November 10, 2026.

Also currently, there are pay-as-you-sip cash discounts are available on wine flights and wine by the glass!
