Onsite consumption is allowed outdoor only per MN Executive Order. The forecast for January Occasional Sales dates (1/8-1/10) is highs in the 20s, therefore the typically extensive wine list will be limited based on demand.
Don't forget, bottle sales are also available by advance appointment outside of posted hours.
Policies are continually changing due to MN Executive Orders. There are many restrictions and ever-changing policies that must be followed in order for Buffalo Rock Winery to be open to the public. Please read these policies and procedure prior to making a reservations or stopping by.
Reservations are no longer required to drink wine on the premises during posted hours. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, capacity is currently limited to 50 outdoors or 22 indoors. 6' socially distancing between other parties and staff is required.

Wine is currently available by the flight (3 x 2 oz samples) or by the glass on site. Due to the repetitive, interactive nature and proximity between guests and staff, Wine Tastings will not be offered until further notice. Bottle sales-to-go are also available inside (masks required) or at the outside counter. Again, reservations are not currently required.

INSIDE: Because seating is extremely limited due to the current MN Executive Orders, all guests must be 21+ to be indoor.
OUTSIDE: During this time of mandated restrictions and social distancing, please refrain from bringing guests under the age of 21 unless they can sit with your group at all times, for the duration of your visit. This applies to outdoor seating only.
Group size is a maximum of four guests. Maximum occupancy is currently restricted to 50 guests outdoors, which is not a foreseeable issue this winter, or 22 inside! Guests buying wine or other merchandise for take home may enter the winery for retail purchases or be helped outside if you prefer.
Masks will be provided upon request. Do not enter without a mask, please wait at the outdoor counter for staff to bring one to you.
Indoor: Staff will wear masks. All guests are required to wear masks while inside and not actively sipping wine. Please note, BRW is happy to accommodate mask-less guests outside (year round), until the mask mandate is removed.
OUTSIDE: Staff will wear a mask when serving and within 6' of guests or other staff, per the Executive Order on mask mandates.
OUTOOR: Logically, this is winter in Minnesota, so Bring your own blanket and you can stay as long as you can tolerate the cold. Therefore, outdoor guests are not limited to a set time period, except by business closure time.
INDOOR: Indoor capacity is limited to 22 guests. If there are 15-20 guests, please limit you stay to one hour. Call ahead with your order and it will be ready to pick up! During posted hours, guests do not need a reservation, but please limit your indoor retail shopping to 10 minutes if there are 15 or more guests present.
As always, Buffalo Rock Winery's owner and staff reserve the right to ask anyone to leave who is obnoxious (drunk, belligerent or any otherwise), and authorities will be called upon if necessary.
Last call is 30 minutes prior to closing time.
Guests must comply with the CDC's recommended 6' social distancing from other parties. Floor signage will assist guests and tables are spaced accordingly, Guests are NOT allowed to move tables or chairs around. Guests are not allowed to bring their own chairs or lawn furniture. Guests are also required to maintain 6' distancing when in line. No more than four guests from the same party may stand next to each other at the counter.
Absolutely no outside food or beverages allowed. Need a light snack? Limited options of Sausage ($6), cheese ($3), and crackers ($1, $1.50/GF) are available for purchase (disposable serviceware will be used). Limited pop, sports drinks and water options are also available, each for only $1.
Pets are never allowed at Buffalo Rock Winery, not even outside. The chickens and cat who reside on site and neighboring dogs appreciate your cooperation. Service animals are always welcome.
When possible, please make use of a restroom prior to arriving to the winery to help minimize movement to and from seated areas and to help maximize social distancing.
Cash is accepted, and preferred.
Until further notice, credit cards or electronic payment are currently only accepted through VENMO or PayPal.
A minimum of $10 applies for CC transactions.
