Onsite consumption is temporarily suspended per a new MN Executive Order. Bottle sales are available by advance appointment, so you never have to worry about running out of Buffalo Rock Winery wine!
Normal is not the time we are currently living in, so until we can get back to it, there are many restrictions and new policies that must be followed in order for Buffalo Rock Winery to be open to the public. Please read these policies and procedure prior to making a reservations or stopping by.
Reservations are required to drink wine or eat food on the premises. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, capacity is limited to 50 outdoors and only 23 indoors. 6' socially distancing between other parties and staff is required.
Want to stop out last minute during regular hours? No problem, but please give a quick call to the winery or wait at the outdoor to check on availability. DO NOT enter the winery without a reservation.
Wine is currently available by the flight (3 x 2 oz samples) or by the glass on site. Due to the repetitive, interactive nature and proximity between guests and staff, Wine Tastings will not be offered at this time. Bottle sales-to-go are also available at the outdoor counter only (no reservation required for bottle sales to go if not consuming onsite).
BRW is only accepting reservations a few weeks at a time in case policies and state guidelines change and to gauge interest and demand for adjusting hours. Always check back closer to the date you are interested in being a guest in case anything has changed or been updated.
INSIDE: Because seating is extremely limited due to the current MN Executive Orders, all guests must be 21+ to be indoor.
OUTSIDE: (When weather permits.) During this time of mandated restrictions and social distancing, please refrain from bringing guests under the age of 21 unless they can sit (outside only) with your group at all times, for the duration of your visit.
Effective immediately, all indoor guests must be 21+. Online reservations are available for up to 2 guests per reservation, group maximum is four guests, or ten if you make arrangements with BRW in advance. Again, any group larger than four must contact BRW directly to make sure your group can be accommodated. Maximum occupancy is currently restricted to 50 guests outdoors and 23 indoors, but due to limited staffing, Buffalo Rock Winery reserves the right to reduce the number of guests at one time to as few as can best be accommodated. Guests buying wine or other merchandise for take out do not count toward the seated guest count and do not require a reservation and will be handled at the outdoor counter only.
Masks will be provided upon request. Do not enter without a mask, please wait at the outdoor counter for staff to bring one to you.
Indoor: Staff will wear masks. All guests are required to wear masks unless actively drinking or eating AND seated, not just seated. Guests must remain seated at all times unless arriving or leaving. Any guest who chooses not to wear a mask will not be allowed inside. No exception. However, BRW is happy to accommodate mask-less guests outside (year round), until the mask mandate is removed.
OUTSIDE: Staff will wear a mask when serving and within 6' of guests or other staff, per the Executive Order on mask mandates.
INDOOR seating reservations are limited to 55 minutes due to the limited space under the current mandates. All inside guests must be 21+.
OUTOOR seating reservations are not limited to a set time period, except by business closure time or in the event of rain. Due to limited covered, outdoor space, guests will be asked to limit their stay's duration to 55 minutes in the event of rain or if there are more than 30 outdoor guests on site at any given time. Buffalo Rock Winery owner and staff reserve the right to ask anyone to leave who is obnoxious (drunk, belligerent or otherwise), and authorities will be called upon if necessary. Last call is 30 minutes prior to closing time. Last reservation is 60 minutes prior to closing time.
